Synopsis

An exuberant, modem musical for young people which explores the very topical, ever-present issue of animal welfare in zoos. Many species of animal are represented and, through songs ranging from raps to sad ballads, their feelings of sadness and dismay are revealed. Two secret agents of dubious appearance highlight the point of destruction of the animal kingdom and the musical concludes with both animals and humans singing of one world "to live in or destroy".

The Cast:

the show is designed for flexible casting and there are opportunities for doubling. The majority of parts may be played by performers of either sex and the groups of animals may vary in number.
