Is There Life After High School?

Cover to cast recording

A Musical in Two Acts. Book by Jeffrey Kindley. Suggested by the book of the same title by Ralph Keyes. Music and lyrics by Craig Carnelia.

World premiere at Hartford Stage Company, Hartford, Connecticut.
Ethel Barrymore Theater, New York - 7 May 1982; closed 16 May 1982; (12 perfs)

Synopsis

No cast member plays a single part, but instead, each represents an assortment of old grads looking back - mostly with affection - on their high school days. Three of the men, for example, recalled the effect of a six-pack in "Beer" while the whole company, echoing and enlarging upon the memorable march in The Music Man remembered the school marching band in "Thousands of Trumpets".
