Synthesizer) 2 Violins Viola Cello Tam Tam Timpani 3 Tom Toms (high, medium, low) Triangle Tubular Bells 2 Woodblocks (high, low) Xylophone Whistle Down The Wind was work-shopped at The Barn, Beauchamp House, Gloucestershire in April I992 by members of the Beauchamp Music Group, and at the 'First UK Festival Of Musicals' in Buxton by the National Youth Music Theatre in April I992, and at the New Olympus Theatre, Gloucester by a cast associated with the NYMT and the Gloucester Academy of Music and Performing Arts in October I992. The first full productions were given by the NYMT in August I993 at the Adam Smith Theatre, Kirkcaldy and the George Square Theatre, Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and it was subsequently performed by the NYMT at the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells, London, in December I993, the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds in July I994 and the Riverside Theatre, London, in December I994. The NYMT is generously supported by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and works in association with Sadler's Wells, the Royal Opera House and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
