Synopsis
Cincinnati heiress Miss Doris Pitt, her family and a young man were coming from Brussels to meet her parents in Paris. Doris met a young man on Amiens station. The young man is good enough to find her lost suitcase and Doris asks him to lunch with her parents. But Papa is livid at the thought of a young man after his daughter, and sends Freddie packing.
He decides that another term of school will be necessary to teach Doris discretion. Doris has no intention of going back to school and heads instead for Amsterdam with her family and, eventually, a whole lot of other people in pursuit.
Amsterdam is succeeded by Buda-Pest, and then by Berlin where Doris ends up working as a cabaret singer before all is finally resolved in the ballroom of the Carlton Hotel, London.
