The MTI RehearScore™ s a complete rendition
of the piano-vocal score on a computer disk. It is
a computerised player-piano, programmed with
sensitive phrasing to play every musical number in
a show, including scene change, dance and
underscore music, and recorded by a top Broadway
pianist. To use the RehearScore™ you will need
the following equipment: a computer (Macintosh or
IBM PC-compatible), a synthesiser (even the least
expensive, no-frills keyboard can play the
RehearScore- as long as it is MIDI compatible -look
on the back of your keyboard for two round holes
labelled MIDI In and MIDI Out) and a MIDI Interface
(a plug-in circuit board for IBM PC compatibles or
a small, inexpensive box for the Macintosh that
connects your computer to your synthesiser). IBM
PC-compatible users only will also need a
Sequencing Program that will understand the data
disks that we provide. This software can be
purchased from your local music or computer dealer.
